Update for 2022:
I wrote this article before the Written Revolution was conceived, so I thought it was apropos to release it again. This day makes me angry, yes the 3000 lives and the iconic buildings lost at the WTC is sad and frustrating, but that is not what makes me angry. Its the aftermath, the further loss of human capital and treasure spent in the name of an unseen and poorly defined enemy. Since I wrote this article, there has been further life lost in Afghanistan and Iraq is poised to become the next extreme Islam capital to rival Iran. We are also fighting a proxy war against Russia in Europe, just to keep those defense contractors rolling in the windfall profits.
In addition we have seen the aftermath of those experimental vaccines and those “mitigation” strategies to combat COVID, another nebulous and poorly defined enemy. We are no further along in “defeating COVID” than we are in irradiating “Terror”, but like the defense contractors, the Pharma industry is enjoying profits NEVER before seen from “free vaccines”. In the meantime more small businesses close everyday, unable to overcome the “mitigation” strategies imposed on them. You need to ask yourself how that is possible? How long are we going to let this happen?

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the day a small group of terrorists hijacked 4 planes, flew 3 of them into iconic American buildings and changed the course of American history forever. As many people are saddened by this day and observe it by going to parades and memorial services,I cannot help but be angered.
I respect everyones reverence on this day, I feel that anguish too. However, to me, the reminders of this day mean something more insidious, something more overwhelming. I see a pattern that has been repeated throughout the last 28 years of my adult life, one that is continuing today.
On September 11th, 2001, 2,977 Americans civilians were killed in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Death of that magnitude is tragic and disheartening. We all came together under our flag. We mourned the loss of loved ones and the destruction of our iconic buildings. We wanted revenge against the enemy that did this to us. This was our line in the sand. We immediately launched into war with Al-Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan and 3 years later with Iraq. We were lied to by our own government about scary “Weapons of Mass Destruction” and imminent attacks on American soil. We declared a War on Terror and made an entire religion, the 2nd largest in the world, the enemy of all freedom loving Americans. We sent our children off to the sandbox in the Middle East to destroy terrorism. In the 20 years that have followed 9/11, 2,442 of our brave sons and daughters were killed in Afghanistan. In addition, 110,000 Afghans, including 47,000 civilians were killed. In Iraq the human capital was even worse: 4,287 of our own warriors were killed in Iraq with over 200,000 civilian deaths. So look at those numbers side by side: 2,997 v 316,000. We spent 316,000 lives including 6,000 of our own sons and daughters to fight this “War on Terror”. Now we are looking at a “resurgence” of Taliban activity in Afghanstan. The work of 20 years, dismantled in less than month. Now more lives are being spent in that “War on Terror” that never seems to end.
Do you notice any parallels to the headlines today? On January 31, 2020 a National Emergency was declared on a Virus that had only been affecting China and parts of Europe. A National EMERGENCY before the virus even hit the US. A declaration of a National Emergency gives the government extraordinary powers to move money and make mandates. We rallied together to destroy this new virus. We spent months of our time and jobs to combat this new threat. Over the next 20 months, we would see businesses lost, families destroyed, rights denied and an experimental vaccine, one that is killing people at a rate never seen in the last 15 years of vaccines, mandated throughout most of America, all the while cases, deaths, and hospitalizations from COVID are surging even though this supposed “vaccine” is “saving lives”. We are told we are savings lives but all we see is a constant barrage death and destruction news to keep us in constant fear.
The “War on COVID” is coming to a news story near you. Can’t you feel it? Americans grew tired of foreign wars with almost 30 years of non-stop military campaigns. The military industrial complex is humming but American support for it is at an all time low. We are tired of war, tired of seeing our tax dollars and human lives spent with no progress in the “War on Terror”. There needed to be something new to keep the machine humming. Something more…local. What better way than to spread the fear that your neighbor, who refuses to wear a mask and get the jab, is a seething disease vector poised to kill grandma. Now our enemy isn’t some foreign Jihadi yelling “Allahu Akbar”, its your neighbor Tom who has the audacity to throw a party in his backyard. Its your cousin, Gina, who you just can’t invite to Thanksgiving because she is not vaccinated. It’s the child going to school without a mask. It’s the group of music lovers gathered at a festival that doesn’t require the jab. You are being conditioned to fear EVERYONE who isn’t sided with our government. You are being told to rat out your neighbors, report them to them to health department. You are being told to dehumanize yourself by covering your face. You are being forced as an employer to make all of your employees take an experimental drug. You are being conditioned to be a hero if you do what your government tells you to.
We didn’t fight back against this thinking during the last 20 years, but that war “only” affected our soldiers, their families and brown people in the sand. This war is very different, this war is affecting our children, our livelihoods, our relationships and our liberty. What will be the human cost of this “War on COVID”. Will we have another 20 years of non-stop war? How many business and lives will we destroy? How many children will be irreparably harmed by the measures we are taking? Will the human capital we spend be worth it?
During 9/11 we were told that Al-Queda and the Taliban hated us for our freedoms. Now we are forcing our children and coworkers to wear masks and mandating we put a vaccine in their arms against their will. We are telling people to stay home, we are labeling business as non-essential. Freedom? Please! It’s time to band together again, not under some false sense of patriotism against an enemy we can’t see. This time this war REALLY is about our freedoms and our liberty. This time the threat is real, the threat is local, and it will affect EVERY Man, Woman and Child in this country. This has got to stop, this has to be the line in the sand.
Excellent summary of the the narrative then and now. American people are waking up and see the evil agenda
